Dear Diary,
I went to court last week. It was grim as it always is. It doesn’t matter if you’re in the right, or in the wrong or even both, court is always awful. It’s a failure to end up there.
One of the things that I find most distressing about the court process is the entry. Have you had the displeasure? They search your bags for weapons. It’s not one of those quick searches, it’s definitely not a nod to safety. These security folks, they’ve seen it all, and so they search thoroughly and deftly. My compact powder with a mirror was confiscated. As were some forgotten about nail polishes I’d purchased to try and seal a broken nail. The bottles are glass you see. And the plug from my charger. I asked if anyone had caused an injury using a plug.
